Chelsea, you ask what the threads are for us. For me it’s being anchored and slow in one place - revisiting, re-looking, rethinking, re-learning as a natural/unavoidable way of life.

Chelsea this is a beautiful meditation. I particularly like the way you identify the space of care that extends the usual western space of living within colonial capitalisms.

I am exploring these shifting spaces of knowing, feeling and grieving too, working on a novel, my first, from the perspective of a grandma.

I can't speak to whales and I detest water, but a mother cat is vulnerable, with a bunch of little mewing mouths to feed in additiontoher own, and every time mama goes out to get food, there is the chance that she will not come back, or that something might happen to her babies while mama is gone.
